<![CDATA[Annet Wood, visual artist. My work is recognisable for many. Making work that is close to many is very important to me.
Mostly I make torso's. I use the female body as a start. Also I create animals and sometimes abstract objects.
Many materials are used. Bronze, stone, candle, wood, glass, lead and copper are used, but also silver. A model is sometimes on show in more than one material. All materials that can be melted, can be poured, might be useful for me.
As an alternative I carve in stone and wood. Those sculptures are always a unique object.
